This festival is a celebration of multiple movement genres, showcasing artistry with our local communities. Choreographers are encouraged to share pieces of work that inspire, change, or create conversation. Companies and independent artists are encouraged to apply. In this application we are interested in getting to know you and what you want to share with the world through movement. LA AcroDancers are defining acro dance, creating a space where the two meet, side by side. Our company saw an avenue not yet crossed where a festival truly recognizes dance and acro in one performance. There are many other choreography festivals, but our niche in acrobatics and dance will open doors for many different genres of movement, specializing in what we do best, acro dance!
DANCE WITH US
LA AcroDancers will be presenting works with professional and semi-professional dancers at CHOREÁ. Pre-professional dancers can sign up for a performance workshop to work with professional choreographers.
